Automattic Inc., most known for WordPress, has acquired the generic domain name Jetpack.com for an undisclosed amount for its Jetpack plugin.

Automattic has been using the domain name Jetpack.me and Jetpack.com now redirects to the .me domain, at least for now.

Jetpack.com was owned by Jetpack Design for several years and on August 4, 2015 whois records switched to DigitalDNA, LLC who is a domain name broker.
