Here are some domain name movers that would have likely gone unreported otherwise, mainly all by large companies:
CBS Interactive Inc. has moved hundreds (400+) of domain names they had parked with DomainSponsor and a few with Fabulous to the general MarkMonitor name servers. They also moved over 400+ more to the CBS name servers. Some of these domain names included Buying.net, BuyDirect.com, Equip.com, Kids.com and many more. All of the domain names that I checked, redirect to the website SearchNow.com which is owned by CBS. SearchNow.com is a news type site with a large search bar on the top, that now has nearly 1,000 domain names pointing to it driving traffic.
The domain names moved from DomainSponsor to the CBS name servers are not resolving currently, but I would expect those to redirect to SearchNow.com as well. The best domain that I had seen in that group of domains was Store.com but also included domains like, Urban.com, Wav.com and .net, TheWeb.com and Transfusion.com to mention a few.
It’s sad to see great domains like these being wasted as redirects to a crappy site… but they own them and can do as they wish!
Red Roof Inns, Inc. hand registered hundreds (380 ish) of geo related domain names with Redroof+GEO.com like RedroofNewark.com, RedroofNaples.com etc.
MadeFromMusic.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains, Inc. with the domain being registered at GoDaddy at the time. It appears the transaction took place about 1/5/2015. The domain was recently registered in 2013 but had been registered before with a total of 4 registrars and was removed from the registry a total of 4 times.
Surge.com a domain name that has been owned by The Coca-Cola Company for many years is revving back up with the relaunch of the Surge soda. After a 12 year hiatus, one of The Coca-Cola Company’s most popular beverages returns and Surge.com is all Surge, instead of showing general Coke.
Surge.com was registered in 1997 and has been owned by The Coca-Cola Company since at least the earliest whois history record available in 2003.
ViewTechnologies.com a domain acquired by Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. on or about 9/1/2014 from BuyDomains.com which I repored on 9/3/2014 has been put to use by redirecting it to CribMaster.om which is a tool inventory management system.
PGIM.com has been acquired by MarkMonitor’s DNStination Inc. The domain was registered at GoDaddy and owned by Alex Lerman. The domain was listed for sale on Afternic as well, but this sale likely went through Escrow.com via a contact on the DNS page.
WeCash.com has been acquired by MarkMonitor’s DNStination Inc. as well. This domain was registered at Dynadot and under whois privacy. The domain has been registered since 2004 and was dropped from the registry one time prior to that.
That’s All Folks!
Redirecting domains is pointless, as the juice isn’t passed on to the target site, SearchNow.com. They need to either build mini portals for each one, *linking* to SearchNow, or sell the assets for a good chunk of money.

Damn CBS and their domain hogging. This must be the company Fadi Chehade was talking about
