This is part of series I am doing, highlighting domain names for creating a brand, advertising, product naming and more for your company. I think these domain names are fairly priced and have good potential.
Today, I highlight the potential brand name: Brandons
Domain Name Available: Brandons.com
Character Amount: 8 (I say 8 or below is Great)
Purchase Price: US$7,000
Overview: Brand names need to be unique and memorable! Given names and surnames make for great brand names as they are often a “common term” and something that is easy to remember. When creating a brand, one doesn’t need to be a grammar queen, so it’s up to you if you make it Brandon’s or Brandons. Is that a distraction to your brand? Depends who you ask and the other brands you look at.
- Starbucks doesn’t
- Dick’s (Sporting Goods) does
- Barclays doesn’t
- Michaels doesn’t
- Sam’s (Club) does
Given names make great brand names IMO. The popular Walmart brand, Sam’s is one example, as is Michaels. I think the term Brandons types nice and appears nicely. At $7K, I think it’s one to consider and owning the exact match .com is a must in your branding efforts!
Trademarks. Based on a quick search, I do not see any current US trademarks for the term “brandons” which is great news and will help in your branding efforts.
