Based on whois history records, it appears the company acquired SuperAwesome.com around July 18, 2017 time frame. Perrigo Company PLC acquires BasicCare.com for new over the counter (OTC) brand that is exclusive on Amazon. The domain was acquired June 1, 2017 from its past owners, WebContents.com, which was reported by DotWeekly on June 2, 2017 but the buyers were not know at the time.
The domain name resolves to a stand alone website, with all the linked pages going directly to Amazon specific pages. Amazon also has a dedicated page for the brand on Amazon.com.
Perrigo already offers the GoodSense brand on Amazon, so I’m not sure what will happen with that one as the BasicCare branded products are lower priced than the GoodSense branded OTC meds that I looked at. To note, Perrigo does own and uses GoodSense.com and also offers its many other brands via FactoryOTC.com.
BasicCare.com sold for a mere $4,200 on Sedo.
