2. Personally I believe this to be a bad market. LLL.coms are way overinflated because of owners of large lots of LLL.coms running up auction prices on purpose. Schilling says he does it himself and so do others. The easy manipulation of prices is one of the biggest problems with domain investing.

      And the owner of this blog is going to allow this? This is my first day on this blog, never saw it before the item I replied to first here.

         I have addressed it. “Todd” didn’t state “Frank” but anybody in the domain space is going to relate “Schilling” to Frank… so I have asked for him to provide proof to his statement.

         1. Naturally, and thanks for doing that, Jamie. It may be a small obscure blog post now, but I definitely regarded this as having potentially very serious and big implications for the industry and hence all of us. “Domainers” and “domain investors” already have to deal with public flack, much of it distorted nonsense, but some of it based on fact. “Schilling” is of course one of the biggest players in the industry, and eventually anyone in the general public might be able to see this blog and this thread no matter how small and obscure a voice in the universe a post like that might be right now. That’s all we need is for people and business out there doing some research to have found something like that unchallenged in a forum like this.

4. I would be very careful with low priced LLL .com’s in the Chinese domain aftermarket in particular. Some can be stolen and laundering them is the easiest way for the perpetrators to make money fast.

   1. Good advice Acro. It is always a good idea to investigate a domain before buying. Google the exact domain in quotes, any odd activity on it via whois etc.

      1. Simple rule for this is to not buy from anyone who owns domain name for less than 6 months. To be safe, you can go with 1 year.

If someone offered you credit.club for $500 one days after registration, you would not take it because of how long the person had it? Same for a valuable .com? To be consistent, your answer has to be yes, and your position here makes no sense.

            1. If you find a LLL .com for $5k right now and blindly buy it without extensive due diligence, be prepared to wake up every day worrying it might be reclaimed.

               Current price trends guarantee that there are no cheap LLL .com domains to be acquired without an inherent issue with ownership.

            Well, I was the one who caught and called out some extremely serious and seriously problematic posting by not one but two people, posting which not only had serious and egregious implications for the famous person being referenced, but ultimately for the whole industry and everyone of us who participates in it as well.

            All you have done is embarrass yourself here, Acro. But nonetheless I do occasionally enjoy some of your own blog posts. One thing I’ve learned in life is that no matter how bad the other person is they may still have something you can use. And yes, Raider completely destroyed you and exposed correctly and exactly what everyone did underneath the bull-spit when she recounted it and linked to the relevant material over at DI. Wish I had said that then and hope she sees this.

               If you can’t read your own comments here to see how you took one serious comment – mine – regarding low priced LLL .com and turned it into a reproduction of your cesspool filled mind, then you need to ask your MD to up the dosage.

               The problem with anonymous trolls like you is that you falsely believe the hatchet won’t fall eventually. It did for Raider, and it will happen again for everyone that breaks the rules.

Everyone in the industry who’s ever dealt with you and witnessed your behavior and mentality since all the way back through early years of DNF knows the truth about you, regardless of whether some big names in the domain space have decided to coddle and protect you for whatever misguided reasons some apparently do; and everyone also knows what kind of super-abundant avalanche of “dislikes” you would have over at DomainInvesting.com by now, for example, if Elliot hadn’t removed the ability to do that on his blog, something even you know based on your own posting about it there before he did that. Keep kidding yourself, Acro, but as for me I’ll be quite happy just for the black and white words to remain up and visible on this blog for all posterity.
