Welcome to another round of company domain movers from large company in the series I call DotWeekly Discoveries Powered By DomainIQ.com . The following are domain names that were either registered or purchased by large companies that I happen to discover using several techniques.
Has registered the domain names FacebookRooms.com .net .org . Hard to say what this is about.
Mondelez International, Inc.
Has registered the domain name PlayWithOreo.com
Genentech, Inc
Has purchased the domain name AssistanceForYou.com from BuyDomains. The domain was registered in 2009. The domain name was listed for $2,188
Campbell Soup Company
Registered the domain name V8Protein.com in April 2014 and is likely now getting ready to launch a website on the domain name.
SEI Investments
Purchased the domain name cConnect.com from a customer at Afternic.
Keysight Technologies, Inc.
Has purchased the domain name Keysight.com for an undisclosed amount.
The domain expired and was caught on the drop in August 2012. FindYourDomain.com was the likely entity who grabbed the domain on the drop and appeared in whois on 10/30/2013. On 11/8/2013 whois changed to ItMedia.com and by 11/18/2013 the domain transferred to CSC Corporate Domains.
OFF!
Has registered several “recall” domain names related to it’s Off Botanicals product. OffRecall.com, OffRecovery.com, OffBotanicalsRecall.com, OffBotanicalRecall.com to mention a few. According to a new article there is a packaging issue with the product.
Rothschilds Continuation Holdings AG
Registered the domain name FiveArrowCapital.com
Google Inc.
Now we know why Google obtained the domain name GoogleWing.com that I reported on 8/22/2014 after it announced it “drone” project yesterday that they are calling “Project Wing“.
Dennis Publishing
Has purchased the domain name TheCurve.net from BuyDomains for an undisclosed amount. General Electric owns TheCurve.com
Comcast
VHX.com was owned by Vehix, Inc. which Comcast owns switched to generic information in whois and transferred from GoDaddy to CSC. This may just be a situation where Comcast is getting
domains from different registrars into one.
Unknown
The domain name VendorVision.com was likely purchased for around $5,000 on behalf of a CSC client.
The New York Times
Registered the domain name ArtsForTomorrow.com
MindSpark
Registered the domain names EasyDocMerge.com and EasyPDFMerge.com
Paramount Pictures
Registered the domain names GamersGamer.com and .net
Ford Motor Company
Appears to have used legal power and obtained the domain name MyLincolnCSP.com from Camping World Inc. Camping World registered the domain name May 20, 2014 according to whois records. My guess is Ford feels they own the right to “Lincoln” no matter what the domain is used for?
Hewlett-Packard Company
Registered the domain name OchoBuzz.com
Staples, Inc
Registered the domain name SpeedwayEstore.com
