April 3, 2017 AOL CEO Tim Armstrong announced a new brand to house AOL and Yahoo, Oath.
AOL registered a slew of domain names to back up this announcement but completely failed and didn’t secure Oath.com prior to the announcement, at least according to current whois records.
World Media Group LLC owns Oath.com, not Verizon, AOL or Yahoo… World Media Group is a domain name investment company, that owns many very valuable domain name assets.

Early on March 17, 2017 DotWeekly broke the news that Abbvie Pharmaceuticals domain name Vicodin.com had been seized by the US governments Homeland Security ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
A total of 838 domain names were seized that day (full list in original story), with Vicodin.com being one of them.

This morning I had noticed many domains move off of the normal routine out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio. At first, I thought the domains had sold but reached out to GoDaddy for confirmation as they all retained NameFind in whois.
The domains did not sell, and GoDaddy wanted to try something new, auction them on GoDaddy Auctions!
I think this is GREAT for domain investors because GoDaddy is offering them at pretty good prices.
