The TJX Companies have acquired the premium generic domain name Sierra.com from Activision Publishing Inc. for an undisclosed amount. TJX is a publicly traded company, so there is potential that the purchase price may be revealed in a SEC filing at a later date. Although, the companies revenue is $33 billion (2016), even if they paid 7 figures, it may not be shown in a SEC filing.

Facebook, Inc. has been buying up generic domain names lately that relate to its many offerings and this time it was Workplace.com!
The domain name was owned by Workplace Technologies, LLC prior and has been registered since June 1997.

Marshalls department stores, which is owned by TJX Companies, has acquired the domain name Marshalls.com from Marshalls PLC of the UK. Both are publicly traded companies.
Marshalls (TJX) is currently using the domain name MarshallsOnline.com for the brands main website, while Marshalls (UK) is/was using both Marshalls.com (corporate) & Marshalls.co.uk (corporate & products).
This transaction holds the potential to be a substantial domain name purchase, which may be revealed in a SEC filing at some point.
