The following are domain movements related to new brands, domain upgrades, advertising efforts and more.
Job.com, which is owned by Job.com, Inc. of Fredericksburg Virginia and founded in 2001 according to Crunchbase, has had some movements in whois. The registrant has changed to Xie Changzai of Fujian China and the email address of [email protected] . That email address is not associated with any other domain names and I wasn’t able to see any reports about Job.com, Inc. selling. Based on whois history, the last time the domain name was updated in whois was November 15, 2011. The website resolves as it did prior but for some reason this movement is suspicious to me. The domain is registered at eNom and I am attempting to contact the company for confirmation.
Update:
Job.com’s whois has updated back to Brian Alden, the CEO of Job.com, Inc. shortly after my article and several attempts to contact Brian via email and Linkedin. No confirmation from Brian yet on what took place.
eNom.com and NameJet.com both moved off Akamai name servers, moving to eNom name servers.
T-Mobile USA, Inc. registered PizzaCompany.biz. The .com and .net are currently for sale. T-Mobile registered several “odd” domains in the past couple of days, with several being new gTLD’s. Doughnuts.guru, GreenThumb.solar, LifeCoach.coach and Plumber.solutions are a few examples.
TheExpressLane.com and ExpressLaneService.com were both acquired via Afternic by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client.
WealthAdvisor.net has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain held a $2,221 offering price and was owned by LeftFieldDomains.com prior. WealthAdvisor.com is owned by CSC client Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. so they would be a potential buyer.
OZM.com has been acquired by OZ Management, LLC (Och-Ziff Capital Management Group LLC) from Telepathy, Inc. The company is currently using OzCap.com for its domain name, so this will be a nice upgrade. The company is public and traded on NYSE under the ticker symbol OZM
AstraZeneca AB has acquired BladderCancerTreatment.com. The domain was acquired back in March 2017 out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio via Afternic.
SmartPath.org has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain held an $1,800 offering price.
JMCO Holdings, LLC has acquired KidsPassport.com with the transaction taking place at Escrow.com.
Genesis Mining has done a domain name upgrade and acquired GenesisMining.com, upgrading from Genesis-Mining.com. This transaction also took place via Escrow.com.
Clock Software Ltd. has acquired its EMD, ClockSoftware.com at domain name aftermarket service Afternic, out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio. The domain has been registered since 2002, with the company currently using Clock-Software.com as it’s main domain. The service offers hotel management software.
Hylan Datacom & Electric have acquired Hylan.com from Frank Schillings Name Administration Inc. The domain name held an offering price of $22,800
Extreme Tools, Inc has acquired it’s exact match .com domain name, ExtremeTools.com, also from Frank Schilling. This domain held a $29,000 buy now price on it. The company is currently using ExtremeTools.net, so a nice domain upgrade for tem.
Imprimis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has acquired DrugSupply.com out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio for an undisclosed amount. The company owns a little over 500 domain names.
Raised.com has been sold at Sedo.com to a currently unknown buyer. The domain transferred into Google’s registrar and was likely purchased by an end user. The domain sold for only $4,500
Blackhawk Network Holdings, Inc. has acquired DigitalPass.com. The domain was acquired in January 2017 but has been under generic whois data since. The domain was owned by GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio prior.
Seems FS average sale price is in 5 figures. More 5 fig sales than 4 figs. LOL
Shows how well established he is to be in such position to ask and sell in 5 figures on consistent basis considering he owns 250K domains.
