Kraft-Heinz.com, Ladybug.com & More Domain Movers

Here is the last Domain Movers I will be doing on DotWeekly! It’s simply an amazing series (I think) but reality is heavily setting in for me! I have been making $1 per hour for my work. It often takes me about 3-6 hours to dig information for these articles every day! It simply takes a lot of time and resources to get the data, provide it etc and I have tried to trim time but I can’t! I also can not continue spending the time to do the articles making $6 a day (that is about what DotWeekly has been and is currently making)! I just can not do it and I’m sure you couldn’t either! I have been doing this for nearly a full year!

I asked for help, but only 1 person provided some help with a very small donation.

Anyway, not a big list.. so I’m not going out with a “bang” by any means with the series but it is what it is! Here we go:

Del Monte Foods, Inc. registered the domain names DoubleLuck.us and DoubleLuck.biz . A Larry Bristol owns the .com / .net at the current time.

Guthy Renker UK Limited registered the domain names ShopFromHomeTV.com and HomeShopTV.com

NyLas.com has been acquired by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client from Danny Sullivan. The domain had a $1,499 listing price and likely sold for that amount. The domain was listed for sale with DomainNameSales.com

Humana Inc. registered the domain name SwitchToCarePlus.com

SuperXI.com has been acuired with the help of CSC Corporate Domains for a currently unknown client. The domain was parked with Sedo under a “dreamwiz.com” email address.

MakerXD.com has been registered by Disney Enterprises, Inc. and on the flip side.. they appear to be allowing the domain name Wizards.biz expire. The domain expires 3/26/2015 and the status was put OnHold/Pending Delete

Run.com has changed website hosting from BlueHost to Dyn.com

Ladybug.com has been sold at Sedo! Web Development LLC was the owner before it went into privacy and they had the domain set at Sedo so where they the sellers? Great domain name!

Kraft and Heinz announced today (3/25/2015) that they will be merging! They also registered the domains KraftHeinzCompany.com, Kraft-Heinz.com, TheKraftHeinz.com and TheKraftHeinzCompany.com with MarkMonitor prior to the announcement.  USA Today article on the merger.

Interesting to note and clearly somebody likely had some fast fingers or insider info? KraftHeinz.com was registered by somebody other than the merging companies! The reason Kraft-Heinz.com was registered and not KraftHeinz.com by the company is because KraftHeinz.com was registered on March 25, 2015, but was it? For some reason DomainTools is showing a “record date” of yesterday, 3/24/2015 but the domain registration of 3/25/2015! How is there a record before it was created?

Something seems odd about it and I would think the company would want to own the domain, since they registered the hyphen version. I’m sure there is a time stamp of some kind of the registrations Kraft-Heinz.com and KraftHeinz.com . I use to have a tool that would show this but I can’t seem to find it.

I want to personally thank all of those who have read the Domain Discoveries series on DotWeekly! I really enjoy doing them but I’ve taken an extreme beating financially continuing to do these in hopes that something would change. It didn’t!

This doesn’t mean that DotWeekly is going away, just the Domain Movers series on DotWeekly! It is a big time killer for me and no financial return. There is potential it may show up on another site in the future.. but I’m still working on that.

  1. I told you , if you want to make money, just publish a listing of domains to sell with the affiliate links.

Look at DS, he comes with a crappy list and people buy, he even put his own s+hit domains there.

Your list of domains can be shi-tty and yet people will buy because there are suckers born every second.

  2. Remunerated or not, you’ve added a lot of value to the industry with this series, Jamie.

Trouble is, the domain industry remains an immature ecosystem. Ahead of it lie many years of growing up. Your work is ahead of the industry’s ability to pay for it – that is, to coordinate the value people place on higher-level market functions.

Currently, while some salesmen and shopkeepers are self-sustaining, market analysts (for the most part) have a much harder time getting paid. That’s quite different from the situation in a mature industry such as the housing market, say, in which both real estate agents, bankers, and think-tank economists are valued equally. In the domaining market, we have evolved the basic roles of buying selling; but the food chain hasn’t gone beyond that.

  3. Buysteelonline.com has been acquired by Tata Steel Europe Limited ( I couldn’t find out the sales price)

TrueCarsCam.com has been acquired by TrueCar Inc (sold at Sedo. Price?? )

  4. Keep up the good work.
