Has very likely purchased the domain name CommerceMarketing.com from BuyDomains.com . This transaction likely took place on or about 12/29/2013. eBay has just registered
CommerceMarketing.net to go along with its currently not public owning of the .com according to whois.
BBY Solutions, Inc. (Best Buy)
Has registered an interesting domain name for a large retailer, UnbrandedProducts.com . The domain was registered before but expired on 9/22/2013 via Godaddy.
Best Buy also registered the domain name DriveTimeProducts.com .
Superbot Entertainment
Is very likely making a play at securing Superbot domain names. They appear to have secured Superbot.com on or about 3/25/2014 and also appears to have secured Superbot.biz as of
yesterday.
Syngenta Participations AG
Registered the domain name ControlWithSecure.com
Syngenta AG is a global Swiss agribusiness that markets seeds and agrochemicals. Syngenta is involved in biotechnology and genomic research. Sygenta had $14.6 Billion in revenue in 2013.
Heineken International B.V.
Registered the domain name ModerationIsCool.com . Sure it is!
Anheuser-Busch, LLC
Registered the domain name RebelCuisine.com . Being a rebel is cool!
Iconix Brand Group, Inc.
Registered the domain name BuffaloFactories.com . “Buffalo David Bitton” is a Iconix Brand and the likely connection of the registration.
Iconix Brand Group is an American brand management company that licenses brands to retailers and manufacturers primarily in the apparel, footwear, and apparel accessory industries.
UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP
Has purchased WomenOfCountry.com and basically all related domains Women Of Country owned domains from the past .com owner. There was a 15 year old website on WomenOfCountry.com but the
owner had stated he no longer was putting in the time, money and effort to keep it going because he wasn’t breaking even. .com .net .org .info the .biz domain appears to still be in the past owners control. I have reached out to the past owner, so if Jeff replies, I will let you know.
Clockwork IP, LLC
Has purchased the domain name HomeComfortCollection.com from BuyDomains.com . The domain was registered on 2/6/2013 and may have been purchased on or about 12/12/2013 by a Michael Brewer
or 1*30/2014 when the domain switched to GoDaddy or 8/13/2014 when whois switched to Clockwork IP, LLC
Home Box Office, Inc.
Has registered the domain name IronFromIce.com may be for an upcoming show of some kind. They also registered the domain name GreenSeers.com .
CBS
Appears to have acquired CollegeSportsLive.com from Cooperative Communications Cooperative Communications. The domain has been regitered since 1997.
Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation
Has registered the domain name Tak3n.com . Maybe they are going to make a domain name movie!
They have also acquired the domain name PeanutsMovie.com, which appears to have been acquired on or about 2/19/2014 with the help of MarkMonitor. The domain has just been publicly
displayed as Fox and a movie is set to launch in 2015.
The Bank of New York Mellon
Registered several domain names with a similar keyword set, including NewFaceOfRisk.com, TheNewFaceOfRisk.com as well as the .net’s of each.
The Via Agency
Likely registered the domain names RealGrapeGoodness.com on behalf of Welch’s for an upcoming ad. They also registered the domains WelchsJustHangin.com and WelchsJustHanging.com
Bank Of America
Has been moving at least some of its domain names from MarkMonitor TO CSC Corporate Domains. One of those domains includes FF.com . That domain appears to have went with the Merrill Lynch
purchase of First Franklin and then BOA purchased Merrill Lynch.
Gap (Apparel) LLC
Has registered the domain name GapIQ.com
Glassdoor, Inc.
Has registered the domain name GLDR.co . GLDR.com is owned by BuyDomains.com, which has it listed for sale currently for $4,088.
Viacom International Inc.
Has acquired the domain name ManBearPig.com with the help of two domain services, BrandCertified and MarkMonitor. BrandCertified showed up in whois records on 7/12/2014 and that was likely
when the domain was acquired.
Betaworks Studio, LLC
Registered the funny domain name of the day, SwitchABitch.com
T-Mobile
Registered several “Simply Prepaid” domain names like Tmobile-SimplyPrepaid.com, TmobileSimplyPrepaid.com . I don’t think it’s a coincidence that there is a whois update on
SimplyPrepaid.com the same day T-Mobile registered the domains. The domain is under privacy protect and registered with Tucows. T-Mobile diplayed some earlier clues by registering the
domian name SimplyPrepaid.biz on 5/5/2014 as well as the .info, .org and .net domains all on the 5/5/2014 date.
Showtime Networks Inc.
Registered the domain names YoWheresTheParty.com and YoWheresThePartyAt.com
