Domain Movers: Gopher.com, Rousers.com + More

Welcome to Domain Movers, a series that takes me a lot of time and effort and I continue to question if these efforts are “worth it” for me to continue to do. It’s fun and I enjoy it but time is money and I surely can use the time for something more profitable than the current.

With the above said, here are some interesting domain name movers relating to corporate activity:

Hulu, LLC registered the domain name FindYourLimits.com, adding to its domain name portfolio of 400+ domain names.

Toyota Motor Sales, USA has acquired Natest.com from YummyNames (Tucows) via Afternic for an undisclosed amount.

Epic Games has transferred Unreal.com out of GoDaddy, which was under whois privacy, over to brand protection service MarkMonitor. The domain is used for its Unreal Engine game development tool and actually isn’t the main domain name used as Unreal.com redirects to UnrealEngine.com

GoDaddy/NameFind has sold the domain name Cew.com

Fusion Media Networks, LLC has acquired the domain name Rousers.com from BuyDomains.com for an undisclosed amount.

Radius Payment Solutions has acquired CompareFuelCards.com from HugeDomains.

Ally Bank has acquired the domain name ClearLane.com via Afternic with the help of CSC Corporate domains for an undisclosed amount.

HotBot.com sells for $155,000 via Sedo. The domain name was owned by Lycos, Inc. and the buyers are currently unknown.

Gopher.com was on the move and transferred registrars from MarkMonitor to eNom. The domain was owned by InfoSpace/Blucora Inc., who is selling many of its generic domain names with Media Options. Andrew confirmed the sale but the buyers are currently unknown as whois has not changed yet.

Sixa.com was acquired by Marksmen for a currently unknown client. The domain had a $14,530 buy now price.
