Bayer AG registered a bunch of “protection” type domain names. BayerCrooks.com .net, .org. BayerIsEvil.net and .org, BayerMafia.com .net, .org. BayerTribunal.com, .net, .org, BayerCorpoarteCrimes.com, .net .org, AdvancingToHell.com, .net, org and many hyphen versions of each. The drug maker owns about 14,000 domain names in total.
Amazon Technologies, which I mentioned earlier that they registered LostInOzGame.com, have launched a game on the domain name. It’s called Lost In Oz Whack – A – Monkey. I played one game and scored 58/114 (50%). No affiliation to Amazon is displayed on the website.
Amazon also registered a few more domains, AmazonJobsDay.com and AmazonDownloadDay.com, PrimeDownloadDay.com and PrimeVideoDownloadDay.com
BestWall.com has been acquired from its past owner by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain has been registered since 2000. BestWall.info was also purchased from its past owner.
DellEMC has taken ownership of EMCDell.com from its past owner via a UDRP/ADNDRC. The domain has been registered since November 2007 by a Chinese registrant. DellEMC.com is also owned by Dell, with that domain having been registered since February 2007, which they have owned it since then.
SetForBusiness.com has been acquired by SetForBusiness.co.uk and acquired out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio.
Katch, LLC acquired AffordableHealthCarePlans.com at domain name aftermarket service Sedo for $1,100 each word. aka $4,400
Summary International Marketing GmbH purchased SimplyBestBuy.com also at Seod. The domain has been registered since 2007.
Video.ly has been acquired by corporate domain buying service Marksmen, for a currently unknown client.
PlanGive Capital Ltd. acquired GiftFunds.com out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio.
DreamWorks Animation LLC registered CrockCircles.com
Pfizer Inc. registered GelFlow.com and GelFlowNT.com adding to the 9,863 other domain names they own.
Lenovo Beijing Limited registered LegendCore.com and LenovoCore.com both June 22, 2016 but I had just noticed them now.
Patagonia Inc, a clothing company, registered a bunch of food related domains. PatagoniaBars.com, Breakfast, Buffalo, Fish, Jerky, Organic, Salmon, Soup, Chili and a few others.
The tail of good vs bad: Abbvie Inc. registered the domains WhatYourGo.com/net while Wm Wrigley Jr. Co. registered WinWithExtra.com. What your go is clunky, Win With Extra flows nicely and has a positive vibe. Both are likely domains for future advertising in some form.
Qtech.com appears to have been acquired by Quality Technology d.o.o from Staples, Inc.
Ragu.com has taken a virtual trip to Mizkan America, Inc. from R&B Foods Inc. of Illinois. The companies are connected, so no ownership change in general.
Henkel AG & Co. KGaA has acquired what appears to be a new laundry brand name, Lovables.com. The domain has been registered since 2001 and was acquired from Poul Erik Norgaard of Lovables, LLC in San Pedro, California. Henkel AG filed a matching trademark in March 2017.
Coya AG has acquired Coya.com from Frank Schillings Name Administration Inc. I wasn’t able to find a listing price, nor a sales price. It has potential though to be a six figure sale IMO. Solid five figure at a minimum. Frank also sold, Avag.com and Oach.com to currently unknown buyers.
Style.com has changed ownership from Advance Magazine Publishers Inc. to Farfetch UK Limited. This is more than a domain name sale, which you can read more about it here.
SummerFridays.com has sold for $10,000 at Sedo and likely was purchased by a end user but the buyers are currently unknown. The domain has been registered since 2005.
