Apple Inc. WERE the buyers of WWDC.com, which I had mentioned sold in a February 17, 2017 Domain Movers article. Whois information has now switched from generic data to display Apple Inc. as the owners. The next Worldwide Developers Conference (simply known as WWDC) is June 5, 2017. The domain name does not resolve yet but was set to Apple name servers, so I would expect it to at least redirect to Apple’s dedicated page for WWDC shortly.
DontLookBack.com has been acquired by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client. The domain has been registered since 1999 and was owned by Nuanced Domains prior. The domain moved into privacy protection in early March 2017 and has since transferred into corporate brand protection service MarkMonitor.
ABC/Disney were the buyers of FlamingoCrossing.com ($2,595), a domain I mentioned yesterday but didn’t know the buyer. They also acquired FlamingoCrossings.com via Afternic from NameStore.com. Flamingo Crossings LLC is a Walt Disney Company
REMONDIS IT Services GmbH & Co. KG has acquired Recycling.info. The domain was parked with a for sale message and listed for sale on Sedo. The domain was acquired with the help of BrandShelter.
Igloo.com Limited has acquired WussUp.com out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio, likely on behalf of a client.
Blue Mountains Beheer B.V. has acquired Ceeds.com at domain name aftermarket service Afternic.
GoSimplr.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain was registered in early 2016 and held a $1,095 offering price.
Taksy Corp has acquired its exact match .com domain name and acquired Taksy.com, which has been registered since 2012. The domain was owned by HugeDomains prior and I couldn’t find an exact price but was around $1,995, which they got a great deal!
VF Services Inc (The North Face, Vans, Timberland, Lee, Wrnagler, Nautica) a MarkMonitor client, allowed 8TZ.com to simply expire and the domain name was grabbed on the drop by DropCatch.com. Similar domains hold a wholesale value of lower $x,xxx
Al Jazeera Media Network registered several “Jetty” domain names, which included: JettyLabs.net, JettyNetwork.com/net, and JettyStudios.net
Church & Dwight Co., Inc. has taken ownership of NoStick.net, a domain name that came out of privacy protection at GoDaddy and transferred into MarkMonitor. It doesn’t appear that they owned this domain name prior, nor does it appear they currently own NoStick.com which is owned by Debsy International of France.
E Entertainment Television, LLC has taken ownership of PeoplesChoiceAwards.com, a domain name that was owned by The Procter & Gamble Company prior. The domain name is redirecting to PeoplesChoice.com
Pfizer Inc. registered the domain name SickRelief.com. The domain expired in February 2016 at GoDaddy.
Del Monte Foods, Inc. registered SnackNutritiously.com adding to the 200+ domain names they already own.
Subway IP Inc. has acquired MyWayRewards.com with the help of corporate brand protection service CSC Corporate Domains.
Lab-One.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain was acquired at Sedo and has been registered since 2003.
Warehouse.com which is owned by CDW has transferred out of Network Solutions and into brand protection service MarkMonitor. This appears to be a portfolio movement over to MarkMonitor as CDW.com also moved over in early May 2017. Smart move! The company owns a little over 200 domain names.
Dow Jones & Company, Inc. registered the domain name CulturesInMotion.com adding to the nearly 3,000 other domain names the company owns.
CreationClub.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain was for sale via Uniregistry.
TheJellies.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain has been registered since 2011 and was owned by DomainPrincipal.com prior.
NLV.com has transferred into CSC Corporate Domains from Network Solutions and is owned by National Life Group. This also appears to be a consolidation to a brand protection service, moving away from NSI. Again, a smart move!
PushPull Technology Ltd. has acquired its EMD from Frank Schilling and acquired PushPull.com. This is a domain upgrade from the iPushPull.com the company was using prior. PushPull.com held a purchase price of $36,000 buy now offering.
Zipi.com was also sold by Frank and this domain held an offering price of $88,000. The buyers are currently unknown.
LIGANOVA GmbH acquired ExperienceOS.com for $8,000 via Sedo.
