Guthy-Renker LLC has registered several Leviate domain name names like GetLeviate.com, Leviate.net/org/us as well as a few typos like Leeviate.com and Leveate.com. They also secured Leviate.com from HugeDomains, which appears to have taken place between May and October 2016 (likely closer to September). The domain had a listing price of $2,395.
Guthy-Renker is a company that fully understands domain names, brand protection and uses EMD (exact match domains) to its brands and products.
ConAgra Foods, Inc. does the wise thing and brings Forkful.com under its ownership. They hired marketing firm Edelman to help market the site and whois information showed Edelman as the owners of the domain prior.
PrimeLingo.com has been acquired by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client from HugeDomains. The buyer is likely Amazon. The domain had a listing price of $1,695.
Franklin Electric Co., Inc, has registered the domain name HeadWaterCo.com
FMR LLC (Fidelity) has acquired Wealthscape.com from Barry Brooks. That transaction appears to have taken place in early 2016 (about January 30, 2016). FMR has now registered about 20 more Wealthscape domain names like WealthscapeTrade.com, WealthscapeFidelity.com, WealthscapteInvestor.com and many more.

Oracle appears to be calling a new cloud platform “Bare Metal” based on several new domain name registrations. BareMetalCloudService.com, BareMetalCloudServices.com, OracleBareMetal.com, OracleBareMetalCloud.com and OracleCloudPlatform.com. The company announced this cloud service in September 2016 to take on Amazon’s AWS cloud.
Interestingly, BareMetal.com has been offering web hosting and domain registration since 1995, a domain name Oracle does NOT own. I reached out to Tom Brown who owns the company for comment.
GoDaddy/NameFind sold several great domain names out of its portfolio. Some of those include: Pitchman.com, GourmetDining.com, BrandExpress.com and a very nice brandable: Roomies.com which was acquired by Roommates International PTY LTD. Roomies already holds a coming soon page. The company was using Roomates.ca prior based on the Twitter link on Roomies, so this may be a rebrand in the works? It appears to be an Australian company, founded in July 2015 prior known as Roomates.com.sg PTY. LTD.
Hasbro, Inc. has registered the domain name FurRealMakers.com adding to its domain name portfolio of over 3,000+ domain names, one of which is FurReal.com that they acquired back in June 2016.
Lady A Entertainment LLC, with the help of Marksmen, has acquired the domain name Labellum.com . Lady Antebellum may be a familiar musical group, but that group consisted of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood and was announced in October 2015 that they would be taking some down time. Charles Kelley has since went solo but has stated his priority has remained with Lady Antebellum but wanted to try solo.
It is hard to tell at this point what Labellum will be used for, but the word holds meaning towards the “tip” of the Ophrys flower. The domain has been registered since 2005 and was owned by Caramba LLC, owners of Warren.com and Warren Weitzman.
A recent trademark filing may give a hint though, and it doesn’t relate to music! The goods and services state:
Cutlery, flatware, hand-operated home and kitchen tool and implements
International Class: Hand tools and implements (hand-operated); cutlery; side arms; razors. – Hand tools and implements (hand-operated); cutlery; side arms; razors.
It also contains Textile products, furniture, handbags, jewelry, candles and fragrances.
Zenuity.com has been acquired by a currently unknown buyer with the help of Marksmen. According to whois records, the domain name was owned by Zenuity, LLC.
