Cryptocurrency wallet, Ledger Wallet has acquired the premium domain name Ledger.com

The domain name was owned by Gatehouse Media, LLC since 2008 and has been registered since September 19, 1994. Gatehouse used the domain name for The Patriot Ledger, which uses PatriotLedger.com and had been redirecting Ledger.com.

Ledger.com is currently doing a redirect to LedgerWallet.com, but I expect that to change over time to the new premium owned domain name that matches the companies branding simply as Ledger.

Burlington Stores Inc. NYSE: BURL (formally known as Burlington Coat Factory) has acquired Burlington.com

It appears the domain was owned by Platinum Equity, which acquired International Textile Group (ITG) in 2016. Burlington.com held the domain name itg-global.com as the registrant email address in whois records until late 2017 prior to moving to whois privacy. The itg-global.com domain is displayed on Platinum Equity’s ITG page. Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse then appears in whois records on February 12, 2018 for Burlington.com.… Read the rest

Things indicate that NBCUniversal has sold the premium generic domain name Sandbox.com to Sandbox Ad Agency.

Sandbox.com has been owned by NBC for sometime now but this morning I detected that the domain name has transferred out of brand protection registrar MarkMonitor to GoDaddy. Whois records do NOT indicate a change of ownership as NBC remains in whois records.

To note, GoDaddy is a registrar by default that allows one to transfer in a domain name and retain past whois
