Tucows.com Co. has sold the premium domain name Wait.com, which went into escrow at Afternic about September 10, 2016.

The domain name was part of the “Mailbank” domain name portfolio of about 17,000 domains Tucows acquired for $18 Million in 2006 from NetIdentity.

The sales price has not been disclosed and the buyers are currently unknown due to it being early in the sale. The domain was using DomainNameSales at the time of the sale.… Read the rest

On May 18, 2015 I published an article on some investigation research that I did on eNom domain names that IMO contained warehoused domains based on whois records with many being listed on a Afternic.com marketplace member page “eNom” page.

Early last week I ran into a domain name and after doing some digging, ran into some more interesting domain names listed for sale. Upon my further digging, I ran into the Afternic listing page for DnStinations.

DnStinations is a commonly used “generic” whois information for clients of corporate domain name registrar MarkMonitor, often listed as DnStinations Inc. in whois.
