When I write stories on DotWeekly, I share them because I care about the domain industry! I care about helping others learn! I share because it helps ME learn. Knowledge is power and knowledge often comes from DOING!

Physics: for every action, there is always opposed an equal reaction!

I am normally “the nice guy” but I am starting to think that being a dick from time to time is going to be needed. I can be a dick and be nice I guess. The majority of the time, I’m nice but I’m starting to really get pissed off about being nice all the time, that I strongly think it will pay to be a dick as well. Grow some balls some would say!

DotWeekly is here to share, to help. That is what I’m going to do and if somebodies feeling are going to get hurt once in awhile, so be it! I’m tired of playing nice all the time.

So, some articles on DotWeekly are going to get interesting. I don’t really give a shit any more. If I dig it and I think “you” need to be called out on it, that is what I’m going to, backed with facts and the reasons!

I am going to contact people and ask hard questions FOR YOU! We learn together!

If you don’t have balls and don’t want to share, I’m going to let you know that is how I feel, in the public eyes with keywords used that others will see!

So, for the normal readers here at DotWeekly, you are likely going to see a different side of Jamie that you may not have been aware of. This article itself, you may be reading and thinking… Jamie appears to be losing it! Well, maybe I’m just waking up! Smelling the roses!

I look forward to you coming along for the ride, to learn by sharing. I will work my butt off to provide you with great articles that will help you learn from in one way or another! Stay tuned!

  1. Jamie,
Yes, sometimes one has to be tough. You pointed out on a couple of occasions the large percentage of Afternic sales which were from their own inventory. Perhaps things have changed since the Godaddy acquisition. I actually recently had an Afternic rep contact me about a domain of mine they had received an inquiry own even though it wasn’t listed there – resulted in a low $XXXX sale. We all have bills to pay so I look forward to the new Dotweekly 🙂

  2. There is so much bullshit in this industry that it will be refreshing to hear what you have to say.

Very much looking forward to it.

    Don’t hold back!

      Todd – Very well said!

Jamie – Keep it real, truthful, honest and keep posts from being edited by the domain industry veterans that control most of the blog roll spamming the Internet. You will take a short term beating, but it will pay off as your audience is able to distinguish the “real” from the “bullshit”. Best to you..
