DropAlert.com Back In Action

DropAlert.com is a unique, real time auction tool that I came up with and worked with Jason Cupp to bring it to a reality. What makes the service unique is it works as an “all in one” radar type system for expired domain name auctions on GoDaddy.

I always thought due to the volume of auctions ending at GoDaddy, it was really hard to keep up with the activity and felt I was often missing many auctions due to focusing on one that was ending. With DropAlert, it allows you to see all the auctions that have activity, are getting a lot of end of auction bids and more all in one place.

GoDaddy had recently did some API changes and we ended up having some issues getting the site working with the new API but those bugs have been worked out and the site is now active and live again. Check it out.

Real time auctions start at 11:00 am central time (9 am PDT) daily and DropAlert is free.

Jason and I hope to bring some new features to DropAlert soon, so I will make another announcement when those features are added.

    1. Thanks Raymond! It’s far from “new” as it has been around for many years already actually, it just broke recently and has been down for a little while and now back up and working again.

  1. Didn’t realize you were involved with DropAlert, Jamie. Those emails have been coming to my inbox for so long that I can’t even remember when I signed up. Best of luck with the service!
