DiscoveryPhone.com has been acquired out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio by Discovery Communications, LLC.

Easyship Fulfillment Services Limited of Hong Kong has acquired its EMD, EasyShip.com also out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio.

The Scott’s Company (likely) registered several domain names under whois privacy relating to “Performance Organics” with some of the domains containing the brand name Miracle Gro. PerformanceOrganicsMiracleGro.com for an example. They registered several variations of the terms, like PerformOrganicsMiracleGro.com, PerformanceOrganic.net PerformOrganics.com/net and more.

Google Inc. has taken ownership of ProgrammableCar.com from Apigee, a company they acquired for $625 million in late 2016.

ATLASTRAVEL.COM.AU PTY LTD has acquired ThePatch.com, which was owned by Pumpkin Patch Limited prior.

Amazon Technologies doesn’t mess around when it comes to brand protection and domain names. I mentioned Tuesday that Amazon acquired EchoShow.com from its past owner around April 20, 2016, over a year ahead of the products public announcement. To further up its brand protection, they then registered 28+ relating domains to the new product on the morning of the announcement. Those domains include:

alexacalling.com
alexadropin.com
alexadropincalling.com
alexashow.com

Youse.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. DNQueen.net also reported on this domain with further comment about the potential buyer and some words from the seller.

FNAQ.com has been acquired by FNAC.com, a CSC Corporate Domains client from France. The domain held a $38,400 purchase price.

MagnAir.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain came out of Escrow.com and has been registered since October 2014.

The Procter & Gamble Company registered PGSignal.com and SingalPG.com

Frank Schillings Name Administration Inc. has just been killing it lately or they are up to something…. a large amount of domains keep moving from the company. Some are just moving to privacy, some are being allowed to expire but many are moving to new owners according to whois. Some of the ones that moved to new owners are:

EzAD.com changed ownership to YPC Media. The domain held a buy now price of $59,000

KidX.com was acquired by CeX Ltd. The domain held a buy now of $70,800

Lerk.com was acquired by 7able Limited. The domain held a buy now of $54,000

Stokers.com was acquired by National Tobacco Company, L.P. The domain held a buy now of $88,000

113 detections were found on a registrant monitor and only 8 of those were an incoming domain, so 105 moved “out” in some fashion. 36 of those 105 moved to new owners in whois. 59 of those 105 moved to privacy protection, like TruckingZone.com and Kezo.com for an example. So did they sell about 95 domains in one day?

  1. Appreciate your posts Jamie..I would rate the info you provide one of the most valuable in the industry.

  2. The money F S is spending at namejet would dictate they are selling those names to replace inventory, and paying up for it.
