Domain Movers: Pointnext.com, OpenPass.com + More

Welcome to the latest Domain Movers where DotWeekly keeps track of corporate domain name transactions and reports the findings to you. This is a very small sampling of the movements detected over the past 24 hours. As always, these are very early findings, often with very little information about the transactions. It is very common thought that these highlight new brands, products, services and advertising efforts by companies.

Here we go:

Yesterday I reported WeGame.com had been acquired by a MarkMonitor client and today some more domains were registered that hint who that buyer was. Tencent. The domains TencentWeGame.com/net were registered at MarkMonitor.

JETSMART SpA appears to have acquired EMD JetSmart.com from Dupont. The domain name has transferred out of MarkMonitor and over to GoDaddy. Jetsmart SpA is based in Cile and is using Jetsmart.cl currently. There is a newer and fairly popular service in the US called JetSmarter.

Realcme, INC has acquired DoItBetter.com from GoDaddy, out of its NameFind domain name portfolio.

Marksmen was busy and acquired 3 domains for clients. Topic.media was one. UniversalThreads.com with another and VictoryCoffee.com rounded out the group.

Danske Bank A/S has acquired MobilePay.me via domain name aftermarket service Sedo. To note, Paypal uses the same extension as a similar domain hack via Paypal.me which allows users to create links instead of email addresses.

Olbi LLC has acquired its EMD Olbi.com via domain name aftermarket service Afternic for an undisclosed amount.

PCN Network acquired SafeEscrow.com out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio for it PCNSafeEscrow.com offering.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (HPE) has acquired PointNext.com from HugeDomains. The domain was offered for $2,795 and HPE used a domain buy service to acquire the domain. HPE also registered PointNext.net.  HPE also registered several relating domains like HPEPointNext.com/.net/.de/.fr HPELiveChat.com, LiveChatHPE.com and HPEChat.com. PointNext.com is redirecting to https://www.hpe.com/us/en/services.html which they just launched the service.

Nike registered the domain name KissMyAir.com adding to its 4,600+ other domain names.

NBCUniversal Media, LLC registered the domain name MinionsRun.com

NoUnionAtTesla.com was registered by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client, as was RightToWorkAtTesla.com. As was, SaveTesla.com and SaveTeslaJobs.com. StopTheUAW.com is also likely connected. The registrations continued with:  teslaandtheuaw.com, teslaanduaw.com, teslauaw.com, teslaunion.com, teslaunionfree.com, TheUAWandTesla.com and teslaunionize.com and yet continued with: uawandtesla.com, uawattesla.com, uawdestroysjobs.com, uawfortesla.com, uawfree.com, uawfreetesla.com, uawfremont.com, uawkillsjobs.com, uawrocks.com, uawsucks.com, uawtesla.com, unionattesla.com, unionfreetesla.com, unionizetesla.com, unionizeteslanow.com, unsafetesla.com  To note, Tesla uses MarkMonitor. DomainNameWire.com covered the registrations.

Cordial.com has been acquired by Cordial Experience from Telepathy Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

Rippling.com has been sold, with Escrow.com handling the transaction.

VeryLocal.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain name was listed for sale on BrandBucket. The domain had an offering price of $8,995

OpenPass.com has been acquired from Frank Schillings Name Admin Inc. by everyLIFE Technologies Ltd. The domain name held a $35,000 offering price.

Nintendo Of America Inc. registered the domain name BezelEngine.com and NintendoWare.com
