Domain Movers: MummyDog.com, Anax.com + More

Cash Money

Welcome! This is Domain Movers and we keep track of company focused domain name transaction and report these early findings to you. These are often future brands, domain name upgrades for existing brands, future advertising efforts and more.

A shorter list today coming off the holiday’s but one I still wanted to share with you today.

ThreatMetrix, Inc. has acquired 1997 registered domain name Brillian.com at domain name aftermarket service Sedo.com for $4,900. The transaction actually took place in April 2017. The company also registered a trademark for the term in May 2017 for SAAS.

Microwear Smartwatch of China has done a domain name upgrade to Microwear.com, improving from the domain name MicrowearTech.com. The domain name held a buy now of $28,600 at the time of the transaction. The companies brand is Microwear, the logo is Microwear, so it makes sense to own the EMD Microwear.com to remove any confusion, missed email communication and more due to the “tech” add-on word to the companies domain name.

CSC Corporate Domains is always busy acquiring domain name assets for its corporate clients and this continued with the purchases of uWell.com, RideNomad.com, LeafJerky.com and KraveSnacks.com. CSC will often use generic whois data for awhile, before revealing the owners.

Dubizzle Middle East FZ-LLC has acquired RentItForMe.com from its past owners. It appears the company acquired the domain name with the help of CSC around August 2017 from DomCollect International GmbH.

General Mills Inc. has acquired MummyDog.com from its past owners. The domain appears to have been acquired back in late August 2017 and has used generic whois data until now.

Environmental Monitoring Sensor Intelligence Corp has acquired FileMap.com from Name Administration Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

Anax.com has also been sold by Name Administration Inc. to a Guoyu Zhang of China. The domain name held an offering price of $114,400.

SugarHigh.com was also sold by Name Administration Inc. to a Hong Kong buyer. The domain name held a buy now of $70,200.

Vidli.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain name was acquired at BrandBucket and held an offering price of $3,699 at the time of the transaction.

  1. Happy New Year Jamie,

The sales price from Name administration leaves me spell bound.Makes me feel some names are undersold when compared to the price I see others sell their names. Thanks for the article.Time to adjust my price again.

  2. Happy new year Jamie, and thanks very much for this awesome domain resource you provide.

I agree with ukowledge about Name Admin’s fantastic sales. When you mention one of their domain names held an offering price/buy now of x dollars, are you seeing this mainly in afternic data?

    1. @fizz

Glad you like it! Yes, I’m seeing the BIN pricing on DomainTools Whois search, when I research the buyer of the specific domain. It takes about a day or more for the domain to be removed from the system, so I often see the BIN price displayed in whois on DomainTools. The data displayed is from an Afternic listing, the majority of the time.

  3. Hello Jamie,

Its no wonder the REGS are in trouble peddling Pidgeon Shit. They are in severe Denial just about now. We are waiting to see if they finally get ( .COM Centric Marketing ) the Superior Strategic choice for new start-ups. They continue to drink the Google/Alphabet Kool-Aid or SEM Centric New Business Killer Marketing. Who will wake up first ??

  4. Hello Jamie,

There is a coming reckoning for so-called professional On-line Marketing Companies, who push SEM online Marketing Tactics. SEM = (Very Bad Deal for aspiring Online start-ups + .COM owners and operators ) The fallout will crush reputations and Corporations. Google/Alphabet will have lots of Mud on their faces, because the truth always eventually comes out. Many Many whistleblowers will come out of hiding. Those who opologize NOW will survive. Those who don’t BAD KARMA to say the least. JAS

    1. They sell .com but pushing pigeon shit in their agenda.Only the wise will understand the pattern and gimmicks. Dot com will always deliver except the seller doesnt do much research to know the value when the inquiries come in disguised email. You deep research has opened my eyes as to why domainers should price with their guts if name is worth it.Some of the sales from Name administration are 2 keywords netting high figures while I see others just chicken out and happy with low ROI that wont sustain them for long or to help in bidding for more valuable names.Name Administration sure knows what his names are worth.
