Domain Movers: Lovables.com, Dearly.com + More

Henkel AG

Welcome! This is Domain Movers, where DotWeekly keeps track of corporate domain name transactions and reports the early findings to you. This is a very small sample of company domain name activity that takes place and are often early indicators of new brands, products, services, advertising efforts and more.

Big Time Products, LLC has acquired FirmGrip.com out of GoDaddy’s NameFind domain portfolio. The company sells gloves, so it’s a good fit, but they also call a couple of there gloves Firm Grip. The companies main domain is BigTimeProducts.net, so that needs a bit of work yet…

Craftaco had acquired Symbiotic.com for $19,507 via domain name aftermarket service Sedo.

OnlyYou.com has sold also at Sedo for $27,000 and has the makings of being an end user buyer but its too early in the transaction to know currently.

ASSA of Australia has acquired 4P.org from GoDaddy’s  NameFind portfolio for an undisclosed amount.

Hozio Inc. acquired the 6 word domain name, ThePlaceToBeIsHere.com also out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio. The company provides SEO services.

TruGreen Limited Partnership acquired TruFriends.com with the help of CSC Corporate Domains. CSC also assisted a currently unknown company acquire GenevaCap.com out of Sedo’s DomCollect portfolio.

The Procter & Gamble Company registered CrestDirect.com and OralbPro.com

CSC Corporate Domains (Corporation Service Company) announced a rebrand as simply “CSC”. In doing so, they registered a slew of CSCGlobal typo domain names (they use CSCGlobal.com for its main domain), which I’m surprised they hadn’t done in the past. Interestingly, CSC.com which has long been owned by Computer Sciences Corporation recently did a spin merger with HPE to form DXC Technology. In that process, DXC is now using the new gTLD domain name DXC.Technology as it’s main domain name, with CSC.com redirecting to it. The new company also acquired DXC.com as DotWeekly reported earlier and that domain also redirects to the new gTLD DXC.Technology. With these developments, it increases the chances that CSC Corporate Domains could purchase the CSC.com domain down the road. To note, CSC.com is a MarkMonitor client, not a CSC Corporate Domains client.

CSC also registered a fair amount of typos of incorporate.com, which they also own and use.

Kraft Foods Group Brands LLC registered OhThatGood.com and OThatGood.com, adding to that 1,900 other domain names they own.

Disney Enterprises, Inc. registered Pixar-Television.com, Pixar-TV.com, PixarTelevision.com and PixarTV.com. Lucasfilm, also owned by Disney followed suit for Star Wars and registered several StarWarsTV.com, StarWarsTelevision.com domains.

Johnson & Johnson have acquired AcnePen.com from HugeDomains for $2,895.

Media Group of America LLC acquired Dearly.com out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio for an undisclosed amount. (likely five figures)

Indivior UK Limited has acquired InSupport.com with the help of domain buying service Marksmen.

Bahlsen GmbH & Co. KG acquired RawBite.com from Tucows YummyNames division.

Research In Motion Limited allowed BerryStores.com to expire and drop while at brand protection service MarkMonitor. When the domain was released from the registry, MarkMonitor grabbed it on the drop. It is not fully clear if RIM was the company acquiring the domain but it is redirecting to Blackberry.com currently.

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. have taken ownership of GetTopic.com which comes out of whois privacy at GoDaddy. There is only one record of the whois privacy, so this domain was very likely acquired back in March 2017 when that privacy record appears. The domain has since transferred into MarkMonitor.

Lovables.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client due to generic whois data currently. The domain was owned by Poul Erik Norgaard of Lovables, LLC of San Pedro California prior. Henkel AG & Co. KGaA recently filed a Lovables trademark for laundry detergents on March 31, 2017 and is very likely the buyer.
