Domain Movers: Heart.com, Bold.com + More

Welcome to a Sunday addition of Domain Movers where DotWeekly keeps track of corporate focused domain name transactions that other wise would likely go unreported and provides the information to you.

As always, these are very early discoveries and heavily based on whois information, which is not always 100% accurate. I do try my best though to report as accurately as I can. With that said, here are the latest detections:

Corby Spirit and Wine Limited registered the domain name CheersToSpring.com adding to the other 60+ domain names they own.

DareToBeFair.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain has been registered since 2011. StresslessWorld.com followed suit and was also acquired for a currently unknown CSC client.

Jeplan, Inc. has acquired Bring.org via Afternic domain name aftermarket services.

NBCUniversal Media, LLC registered the domain name LadyParts.tv

Weave, which is using GetWeave.com, has acquired Weave.co. They are a patient communication service with over $20M in funding, with a recent Series B round that brought in $15.5M of that funding.

Amazon has moved AmazonGames.com over to Marketing Cloud services by Salesforce, which may indicate a new marketing effort on Amazon’s part to push games on Amazon.

Heart.com which was owned by Blucora, Inc. has moved to generic whois data at MarkMonitor, along with a DNS change to generic MarkMonitor servers. There is potential that Blucora has sold the domain, as Media Options is brokering many of its domain names. I reached out to Media Options Andrew Rosener who was able to confirm the domain name sold but was not able to comment.

Since it appears the domain is staying with MarkMonitor, it would likely result in the buyer being a large corporation. This is a really great domain name and a high value asset.

AMG Investment Group LLC (My Imports USA) has taken ownership of many Tag Body Spray domain names from P&G. My Imports USA acquired the Tag brand from P&G in July 2016. My Imports USA uses some terrible domain names, like its main domain name MyProducts99.com . The company supplies merchandise to dollar stores, discount stores, and wholesalers all over the country.

Microsoft registers the domain name UseSurface.com, likely for some sort of call to action marketing effort. They already own and use Surface.com for the suit of products they offer.

Verizon has acquired the domain name InstantInternet.com from GoDaddy, which was part of the NameFind domain name portfolio.

Bold.com was sold around October 2015 but I had just noticed it now. The domain was owned by P.A. Gordon and was acquired by Bold Limited, who offers a career service.

Accumed Technologies LLC has acquired its EMD Accumed.com from Telepathy, Inc. for an undisclosed amount.
