Domain Movers: CustomFigure.com, Mova.com + More

Bobbleheads.com Royal Bobbles

Welcome. This is Domain Movers. We focus on domain name transactions related to businesses around the world and the domain name assets they are acquiring.

These are often early detection’s and not much is known about the movements but we try our best to provide what we can. These domain name transaction often relate to new brands, services, products, future advertising efforts, domain upgrades and much more.

Here is a very small sampling of some recently detected domain movers:

Mova.com and Mova.net have been acquired by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client from its past owner, who owned both domain names.

PrimeExclusive.com has been sold by HugeDomains.com and acquired by domain buyer Com Laude. Whois currently does not show Com Laude’s client but one may assume the buyers would be Amazon. The domain name held a buy now of $1,995. HugeDomains acquired the domain name in 2009.

Royal Bobbles, owners of Bobbleheads.com (and the singular) has acquired CustomFigure.com from Mike Mann’s DomainMarket for $4,888. I also noticed that GoDaddy sold CustomActionFigures.com out of its NameFind portfolio, but that was not purchased by Royal Bobbles. Emil Vicale acquired CustomActionFigures.com for an undisclosed amount.

Minuteman Press International Inc. were the buyers of Minuteman.com which I mentioned on December 18, 2017. At the time, I predicted that Minuteman International Inc. were the likely buyers, that was not correct, but I was close. Minuteman Press International Inc. is a different company than Minuteman International Inc. Minuteman Press upgrades from MinutemanPress.com to simply Minuteman.com with the $50,000 (buy now price at time of transaction, actual sales price unknown) domain purchase.

Societe Des Produits Nestle S.A. (Nestle) has acquired BarrelAndButcher.com with the help of domain name buyer brokers Marksmen for an undisclosed amount. The domain was registered in November 2016 by a company called Dimetree Inc., which ownes Vines Grille in Orlando, FL.

Coraco AB has acquired its EMD, Coraco.com at domain name aftermarket service Afternic for an undisclosed amount.

Paramount Pictures registered FearWhatsInside.com adding to the 6,000+ other domain names currently owned by the company.

Warner Bros Entertainment Inc. didn’t want to be outdone and registered UnlockTheTomb.com/.net on the same day as Paramount.

NestVideoDoorbell.com has transferred into MarkMonitor from GoDaddy. Interestingly, the domain name was owned prior by James Siminoff, who is the CEO of Ring.com. Ring.com competes with Nest with its own Video Doorbell. I didn’t see a UDRP filed on this, so I’d assume a legal letter arrived to James and demanded transfer of ownership. The domain was registered on May  12, 2016 and it appears the Nest Hello Video Doorbell was announced in September 2017. Google owns the Nest trademark for video monitoring and more, which was filed in June 2015.

Voise LTD of Korea has acquired its EMD, Voise.com at domain name aftermarket service Sedo.com for $18,000. The domain was acquired in June 2017 but whois records just updated now.

Amazon Technologies, Inc. registered several Alexa Accessories and Alexa Mobile Accessories related domain names. Amazon is one of the largest portfolio owners of any company (40K+ domains) and vastly registers domain names related to products and services they offer. Amazon also registered DontWorryMovie.com.

vMate.com has been acquired by MarkMonitor client UCWeb Singapore Pte.Ltd. (Alibaba Group) out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio for an undisclosed amount.

Ai Health of Denver, CO (AiHealth.io) has acquired GettingHome.com out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio. Ai Health offers a Post-Acute Care logistics platform they call GettingHome. Although no sales price was discovered, I often see similar domains in the mid four figure range, so I would estimate this sale in the $3K-$6K range.

Itsuwa, an electronic cigarette / vape product supplier based in China has acquired UltraFlo.com, also out of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio.

Masterpixel Media acquired WonderfulPlaces.com also out of the NameFind portfolio. This domain held a buy now of $4,999. Nice domain at a fair price.

In general, GoDaddy sold at least 21 domains yesterday (that transferred out to new owners) that I had seen.

  1. Hello Jamie,

  3. Hello Jamie,

    ( We Don’t Work together )
Great subject, this needs to be addressed. From what We see there is tons of misinformation fashioned for the benefit of who ?? Surely not for the benefit of helpful useful advice to steer readership in the right direction. For Example, take a look at all the Gambling Advice for Newbie Domain Investors coming from Conferences that only promote Garbage Domains backed by Regs that could care less if your readership is successful. Then there are the Opportunistic Carpetbaggers pushing Phony useless Pyramid Style Con/Jobs = Cryptos + new functionless GTLDs meant to enrich Regs and Google/Alphabet Madmen or how about the next useless Con/Job to separate Domainers from their Money. Or how about G-DADDY BANGING people for their own profit leaving New Start-ups with no traffic on the Google/Alphabet Platform. On and On and On. Or how about Web-Masters who are clueless about the superior Strategic Value of ( .COM Equimoditty Platform Asset Class Investments), which by the way are hardly ever mentioned, on most Blogs. This platforms definition is Domaining , yet major Blogs like thedomains exercise Censorship. This is ALL called Carpetbagging in our book.
    Thank you jamie. JAS
