Solcon Internetdiensten N.V. has acquired Action.com. I had mentioned just the other day that there was potential that the domain may have sold, and now the domain was loaded onto Solcon.nl name servers and is resolving. Solcon is a telecommunications company in the Netherlands. The domain was briefly resolving to a Sedo brokerage page and was owned by a company called T101 Limited of the UK prior. Action.com sold for $270,000 in January 2011. also at Sedo.
Revelers.com has been acquired by Douglas Booth Architects Inc. of San Francisco, CA. The domain name was part of GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio prior. The last time I checked this domain, it held a $12,000 purchase price. GoDaddy also owns the singular version, Reveler.com and that holds a $35K offering price.
GoDaddy also sold TheInside.com, which held a $16,000 offering price but the buyers are currently unknown due to whois privacy.
Olympus Corporation of the Americas Inc. acquired TrueToLife.com, also from GoDaddy’s NameFind portfolio.
Slando.com which dropped in February 2017 and grabbed by DropCatch, appears to have been grabbed for CSC Corporate Domains or potentially won in a drop auction. The domain moved to privacy after being caught and has now transferred into CSC. Slando.net and .org looked to have dropped on March 18, 2017 and both grabbed by CSC as well. OLX Global B.V. (Naspers.com) owns Slando.info and is a CSC client, so these may be connected. Slando.info has been registered since 2006.
Rebellion Developments Ltd. acquired RebellionProductions.com and MegaCityOne.com. The former owners of MegaCityOne.com was a comic book store and have moved to MegaCity.one a new gTLD. Both domain names were acquired for an upcoming TV show Judge Dredd. Hat tip to AssetDigital.com for the details.
Salesforce.com registered the domain name CallingAllTrailblazers.com adding to 1,600+ other domain names they own (with many being very premium domains).
Craigslist has acquired the two letter domain name CL.net from a Sean Kelly of France. Craigslist already owns the premium 2 letter domain name CL.com, which they have owned for many years.
Hoken International Company has acquired HKClub.com adding to the 14 other domain names the company owns.
Edgewell Personal Care Brands, LLC has registered EdgewellShave.com and EdgewellShaveClub.com. They continued with SchickDirect.com, ShickHydroConnect.com, SchickHydroConnectDirect.com, SchickHydroConnectShave.com, SchickHydroConnectShaveClub.com, SchickHydroDirect.com, SchickHydroShave.com and SchickHydroShaveClub.com. They own the Schick shaving brand and recently announced a subscription razor offering called Schick Hydro Connect to compete with Dollar Shave Club and Gillette’s shave club. The Schick Hydro Connect is compatible with Gillete’s Fusion and Mach3 handles. The brand is using SchickHydro.com for this service, a domain name they have owned for awhile. Prior the domain name redirected to the companies main website but is a stand alone offering now.
Intuit Inc. registered several Quickbooks Capital domain names. QuickbookCapital.com, QuickbookCapitol.com, Quickbooks-Capital.com, Quickbooks-Capitol.com, QuickbooksCapital.com and QuickbooksCapitol.com
94.com has transferred from a Chinese registrant at eName over to GoDaddy under privacy protection. The domain was for sale on 4.cn
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. has taken ownership of GameDrop.com from Machinima, which is a digital studio. Warner Brothers acquired Machinima in November 2016 and the reason for the change in ownership.
TurnIt.com has been acquired by T grupp AS at domain name aftermarket service Sedo.com for $9,000
