Domain Movers: Barf.com, MensMarket.com & More

Welcome to the latest round of domain movers by DotWeekly which is an exclusive series that focuses on domain names that have recently been acquired, registered or are moving for one reason or another and likely would go unreported otherwise.

Not a huge list today as I’m still struggling being sick but several movers worth noting!

Barf.com was acquired by Integraclick Inc on September 7, 2013 from SuperBDomains.com and actually expired on March 14, 2015 but was quickly renewed.

Flightly.com followed similar suit as barf and expired on March 14, 2015 as well but was quickly renewed by Grab LLC (Grab.com), which acquired that domain around May 19, 2014 from Raw Names.

GetKitApp.com has been registered at SafeNames.net by a currently unknown client. This very well may be related to the Kit.com domain sale that was exclusively announced by DotWeekly.com on February 27, 2015.  I did get email confirmation from Mike that he did sell Kit.com but nothing more was said than that. It is safe to say that “Kit” is going to be an app of some kind.

PublicMobile.net has been acquired by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client with whois information whois showing DNStination Inc. The domain was parked with Afternic and has been registered since October 5, 2004. The domain was owned by Ultrashort Media, Inc.

PublicMobile.com is currently under whois privacy at GoDaddy and using the CashParking service with an “interested in this domain?” message at the top of the page and appears to be using a DomainNameSales.com contact form. PublicMobile.org is also owned by Ultrashort Media, Inc.

PublicMobile.info and .biz are owned by TELUS Communications Inc. which owns a self-serve prepaid Canadian mobile phone company called Public Mobile and they are a MarkMonitor client and the likely buyers of the .net and I would assume they are likely after buying the .com if they have not already. They use PublicMobile.ca as its main domain.

MyPur.com has been acquired by Henkel AG & Co. KGaA from HugeDomains.com for the likely $1,195 offering price.

Disney has purchased the domain name CharacterDining.com from Kunos Software Inc. (which was listed in whois for a pretty long time, then switched to R4Z Data Corp on 7/21/2014) / R4Z DATA CORP with the domain being registered since 1/25/2006. It appears the transaction took place about March 9, 2015 when the domain went into privacy at GoDaddy and kind of oddly changed domain name servers to Yahoo.com and have since changed to CSC Corporate Domains.

PostFaster.com has been acquired by Postfaster, LLC. The domain was owned by BuyDomains.com and the transaction appears to have taken place around June 20, 2014.

RemoteApp.org has been registered by Microsoft Corporation. RemoteApp.com has been registered since 2001 and is currently for sale via DomainNameSales.com with whois under privacy at eNom.

Amazon Technologies, Inc. has registered the domain name AWSLastMile.com

KeepItPumping.com has been purchased by Novartis AG from BuyDomains.com for an undisclosed amount.

MensMarket.com has likely been acquired by MMKT Comercio de Produtos de Beleza e Sericos de C who also owns MensMarket.com.br. The domain was last owned by D&D BROTHERS ENTERPRISE of Canada before going into whois privacy at Dynadot on December 10, 2014.

MyBank.net has been acquired by Alibaba Group Holding Limited. The domain was listed for sale with DomainNameSales.com . My Bank! First United Bank & Trust owns MyBank.com so that would likely be pretty hard to acquire.
