I took about a month break from the Domain Movers series on DotWeekly but I was collecting data over the past month and just storing it locally, mainly sharing some of the bigger info on my Twitter account. I still haven’t decided what I’m going to do with the series but many have been emailing me asking where it is, so thank you for thinking of me.
Over the next couple of days I will post the data I have collected the past month in a series of articles. Here are some of the domain name purchases and sales by companies around the world:
Coty Inc. has acquired BeautyCrush.com which held a $2,499 offering price.
TastePoint.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client.
Velcro USA Inc. registered, DontSayVelcro.com in a little odd twist. Most brands want you to say the brand name!
Bauer Hockey has launched a coming soon page on NeuroShield.com which I mentioned they acquired earlier from HugeDomains for around $2,395. The new product appears to be a “neck” type device, with the claim of “A revolutionary new approach to head protection”
UK Fuels Ltd. have acquired VehicleCheck.com, which held a $40,800 offering price and was owned by Frank Schillings Name Administration Inc. prior.
InsightUnlimited.com has been sold by DomainMarket.com to a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The transaction was handled via Afternic.
AppCreators B.V. have acquired its EMD, AppCreators.com via domain name aftermarket service Sedo.
Payscout, Inc. acquired VRCommerce.com also at Sedo.
DuneMovie.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain has been registered since 2013.
Airbnb, Inc. has acquired ABNB.com, which has the appearance of a stock ticker! Currently, they are a private company but does this domain purchase give hints to future plans? The domain was owned by URL Enterprises LTD. and registered at Uniregistry until transferring to Dynadot under privacy in March 2017. Whois records now display Airbnb, Inc.
AstraZeneca AB registered two new domain names and those included TreatPromptly.com/.net
Pfizer Inc. has acquired Eucrisa.com with the help of Marksmen.
ViiV Healthcare Company have acquired ItsMyCore.com also with the help of Marksmen.
AdvoHealth.com has been acquired by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client via Afternic.
Deadpool.com has been acquired by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client.
SBS.com has changed ownership from General Electric Company to Abaco Systems, Inc.
Krank Ltd has acquired its EMD Krank.com, with the transaction taking place via Escrow.com
BFA.com has moved into Escrow.com but the buyers are currently unknown.
SmithKline Beecham (Cork) Limited appear to have acquired StayinControl.com
Payscout, Inc already developed VRCommerce.com.They launched an application that enables easy payments inside virtual reality.

As for the Velcro’s registration of ‘DontSayVelcro.com’, i believe it’s an initiative to make people stop using the brand name ‘Velcro’ in the generic sense, so that they might have a better chance at protecting/defending their Trademark.
