Company Domain Movers From Motorola, Microsoft & More

Welcome to the latest round of company domain movers in a series I call DotWeekly Discoveries powered by DomainIQ.com . In the DotWeekly Discoveries series, I do some domain digging and find newly registered, purchased and simply domains on the move by some of the largest companies on the internet. The domain discoveries often lead into “news” of new products, services and much more!

I do dig to try and find some information for each, but because it’s often so early on, there is nothing more to find! I also dig so many domains, it’s hard for me to dig them all, so many of these domains… there is more to add to the story, so if you have some info, please feel free to post a comment below. Here we go with today’s list:

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

Has purchased the domain name ViewTechnologies.com from BuyDomains.com for an undisclosed amount.

DreamWorks Animation L.L.C.

Appears to have acquired the domain name Wonderly.tv from jason ziemianski. Jason owns Wonderly.com and is stated “Wonderly is a place for innovative, female creators and audiences to meet, collaborate, and celebrate each other’s creations.”

A little odd that that the .com owner would sell the .tv but money talks…. Not sure DreamWorks would launch off just the .tv for whatever they have in mind for the domain, so the site/.com may come into play.

A CSC Corporate Domains client has purchased the domain name CaliforniaCurls.com from HugeDomains.com . The domain was listed for $695 from what I can see. GetCaliforniaCurls.com is owned by TeleBrands is the likely buyer.

Cambio Entertainment, LLC (AOL)

Appears to be making some play with the term “Built By Girls”. They registered several domain names like BuiltByGirls.com in July 2014 but now have registered many more like BuiltByGirls.net and .org and several variations and spellings, as well as BuiltByGirlsAOL.com

Cambio is a celeb gossip site owned by AOL.

  1. Thanks for the info on 215Christie.com. Just tweeted that. Schrager group also owns the correct spelling of that as well, 215chrystie.com. Chrystie street is on the popular Lower East Side of Manhattan.

    1. No problem Mitch. I was thinking Gov. Christie 🙂 as I didn’t even look into who Schrager group was.
