Company Domain Movers From Kraft, CBS & More

Here are some more company domain movers from large companies that have either registered, purchased or simply are moving domain names for one reason or another. I have taken several days off from blogging as I’m not sure if I am going to continue to blog or not. I love doing it, but I just haven’t had much luck making the effort turn into some income and be worth it. I have had the following info for a couple days and figured I would share it, since I have it.

So here you go:

International Data Group, Inc.

Registered the domain name ThinkVertically.com . The domain was registered in the past but the domain expired in 2012.

Paypal Inc.

Registered two domain names, PaypalCreateYourSale.com and Paypal-CreateYourSale.com (maybe they listened to my advice). This made me look into CreateYourSale.com, which was registered recently on 7/22/2014 by Havas Worldwide…. who was likely hired by Paypal.

Havas Worldwide, formerly known as Euro RSCG, is one of the largest integrated marketing communications agencies in the world.

Then Paypal continued with several more domain registrations like PaypalAtTheRegister.com / .net and PaypalCreateMySale.com . They didn’t forget about eBay and registered eBayForTheWin.com

Vanguard Trademark Holdings USA LLC

Has purchased the domain name Alamos.org . Vanguard owns the domain name Alamo.com, which offers car rentals. The domain was listed for sale in whois data and also parked at Sedo.

Del Monte

Is continuing to purchase domain names in the aftermarket (purchased BigHeart.com recently) and this time purchased the domain MeowTime.com . The domain was listed at Sedo but the trasaction likely didn’t take place at Sedo, as the listing still remains in place. It likely happened directly or via GoDaddy.

Del Monte has a site on ItsMeowTime.com which redirect to MeowMix.com/itsmeowtime and is currently being used for a promotion.

Facebook, Inc.

Registered the domain name AtScaleConference.com on July 31, 2014 and has loaded up domain name servers on the domain yesterday and is likely getting ready to put the domain to use.

Time Inc.

Has registered the domain name SendMePeople.com, which they have loaded up on a dedicated server.

RACING VICTORIA LIMITED

Has purchased the domain name GoRacing.com at Sedo.com from Robert Golden of GamblingDomains.com. The domain name sold for $9,500. Racing Victoria also purchased the domain name Racing.com from Adam Strong recently.

Kraft Foods Group Brands LLC

Spent a whole $957 to acquire the domain name ThanksForAsking.com from BuyDomains / DirectDomains.

CLARUS MARKETING GROUP

Has purchased the domain name ReturnShipping.com from BuyDomains. The domain likely sold in May 2014, for $2,500.

Lundbeck

Registered the domain names, ThinkDepression.com and UnlockDepression.com

Google Inc.

Acquired the domain name ChromeBase.com on or about March 23, 2014 from Frank Schilling. LG offers a computer called the LG Chromebase that is an all-in-one Chrome / Google system.

CBS

Is likely getting ready to launch a TV show called Man In The Middle. They have acquired ManInTheMiddle.com very recently from a business: Man In The Middle LLC and has registered several domain names MainInTheMiddle.com, ManInMiddle.com, ManInTheMidddle.com, ManInTheMiddleTV.com, ManInThMiddle.com . I had reached out to the seller but sadly he never replied to my request.

Walmart

Has registered the domain name WalmartGroceryPickup.com

Sony Pictures

Registered the domain name ActionIsGreater.com and ActionGreaterThan.com

Warner Brothers

Registered the domain name NoRulesDating.com

First National Bank of Omaha

Registered the domain names FirstPayX.com and .net . They also registered the domain names TheNewPayPhone.com and .net

Protective Life Insurance Company

Registered the domain names YourFinancialPower.com and .net

Twitter Inc.

Registered the domain name TwitterMoments.com

Stokely – Van Camp, Inc / Pepsi

SweatItToGetIt.com was registered by Stokely -Van Camp, Inc but holds the Pepsico email address and is loaded onto Pepsi name servers. Since Gatorade.com has similar whois information, I would think this is likely going to be related with Gatorade in some way and likely an ad campaign.

Investec Bank plc

Registered the domain names ThankYouOrdinary.com and .net

Microsoft

The domain names BeTheDecision.com and .net were likely registered on behalf of Microsoft back in 2010. In 2011 the generic whois information of DNStination Inc. was displayed and has just switched to Microsoft.

Verizon

The domain GlobalREadyChallenge.com which I reported on earlier, which Verizon registered on 8/5/2014 has had domain name servers set with Amazon hosting, so that site is likely getting ready to launch something on it.

Briggs & Stratton Corporation

Registered two domain names that will likely be used or related to a new “feature” or product. InstantStarting.com and InStartEngine.com.

Unknown

CSC Corporate Domains has purchased the domain name StoriesOfLife.com from BuyDomains for likely about $3,588 for a client. StoriesOfLife.net was registered on 4/8/2014 at GoDaddy under whois privacy and I think this isn’t just a coincidence.

Kimberly Clark Corporation

Registered two domain names for its “Scott” brand and those were FightTheFluff.com and ScottBoardOfMoms.com . It doesn’t appear they own BoardOfMoms.com, as that domain was registered 11/11/11 to Moon Rise Arts via GoDaddy.

Gambling Commission

Used Keltie legal to help acquire the domain name Game-Store.com . The domain was listed on auction via Flippa and the auction ended for $540 without reaching reserve back in June 2014 but I wasn’t able to find the actual selling price.

Motorola

Has revealed they own the domain name SonicSilver.com and likely are going to launch a product behind the name. Motorola has a product called Sonic Rider, which is a Bluetooth car kit, so it may be something similar and or related to it.

TechCrunch Inc.

Appears to have purchased the domain name DogeCrunch.com from an Andrew Tinits who registered the domain on 1/22/2014.

Sold Domains

Socially.net (BuyDomains sold, likely for about $10K)

TheSuitShop.com (BuyDomains sold, likely for $1,888)
