P&G Building A Better Company

Welcome to Domain Movers! We keep track of corporate domain name transaction and report the early findings to you.

Here is a small sampling of daily company domain movements over the past 24 hours:

Valeant Pharmaceuticals North America LLC registered BauschRetinaRx.com and BauschAndLombRetinaRx.com. RetinaRx.com was registered February 16, 2017 by a Mark Baum with a ImprimisPharma.com email address, which is Imprimis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. The two companies do not appear to be connected.

Hewitt Associates LLC registered AlightFinancial.com, which now confirms my earlier prediction that they were behind the Alight.com purchase and Alig.ht domain for a (likely) URL branded shortener. There is a service called Rebrandly.com that allows users to get detailed metrics using branded shortners like Alig.ht (also considered a domain hack, due to it’s matching term with the tld) which provides you much better control and detailed stats to go along with it.

Muse Developments Limited registered InfinityRiverside.com & .net adding to the nearly 200 other domain names they own.

LubeChat.com has been acquired from HugeDomains via Afternic by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain was registered on June 1, 2017. The domain held an offering price of $3,295

Target Brands has once again used domain name buying service Marksmen and acquired both domain names TargetPantry.com and MyTargetPantry.com. Both domains were owned by a Gregory Janssen of Maple Grove, Minnesota and registered in 2015.

Procter & Gamble registered 4 new domain names: ABetterPandG.com, ABetterPG.com, BuildingABetterCompany.com and BuildingABetterPG.com

Microsoft Corporation registered SealCrypto.com & SealCrypto.net

Virtual Valley Inc. (Boulevards.com / Metro News) has allowed 2 letter domain name SJ.net to reach expiration and remained in expired status for about 22 days according to whois records. The domain has since been renewed at Tucows.

The company owns some super premium GEO domain names like Dallas.com, Seattle.com, Memphis.com, LosAngeles.com and many more!

Tucows appears to have sold the domain name Konrad.com, which was part of its Mailbank domain name portfolio. The domain has transferred to GoDaddy, under privacy protection.

Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Florida, Inc. has acquired Florida.blue with the help of domain buyer Marksmen. The company also owns and uses the domain name FloridaBlue.com, so this may be another branded URL shortner useage?

GoDaddy’s NameFind division is always pretty active and this continues. They sold CycleMasters.com to ClubVirtual, ElevateExtracts.com to Tech International, Inc. and GraceMinnesota.org to Mandello Investments & Holdings LLC

Penske Media Corporation has acquired Sportico.com at domain name aftermarket service Afternic.com for an undisclosed amount.

Hilton International Holding, LLC registered the domain name BurnellsRestaurant.com

Amazon continues with more “pickup” domain names and this time registered PrimeNowPickup.com & PrimeNowPickup.net

Blanco Professional GmbH + Co KG have acquired FrontCooking.com from it’s past owner for an undisclosed amount.

Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. has acquired GloudGames.com. The domain has been registered since May 2016 and was under whois privacy until June 2017 when generic CSC data appears.

Estee Lauder Inc. has registered GadDeveloper.com under a newly formed LLC, GAD Developer, LLC which CSC registered for the company back in March 2017.

Helen Of Troy Limited registered the domain name HotFitWellness.com, adding to the 500+ domain names they already own, one of which is not HotFit.com to note. The company owns brands like PUR, Pert, OXO, Vicks, Honeywell, and more.

  2. I am not an English specialist but I think your last sentence has an error: “We simply can not do what we do with DomainTools.com!”
Maybe you wanted to say “without”.

  3. Great work Jamie, your post are my favorites and I really appreciate your ability and time in writing such as quality news. You rock! Keep goin.

  4. Wow – domaintools? I thought they screwed you over like everyone else? I finally cancelled after being a 10 year paid user – the 25 history lookups and reverse IPs was ridiculous. Either way, glad it worked out, as I LOVE these posts!
