Company Domain Discoveries From Hallmark And More

Here is another round of domain names I had discovered that were recently registered or purchased by large companies.  Most of these domain names will likely be used in the very near future and often relate to some sort of advertising campaign.

Dr. Pepper/Seven Up, Inc.

Hand registered the domain name TailgateTeamUp.com! It’s almost football season, so this will likely be used in some way with the upcoming NFL season.

AstraZeneca AB

Hand registered the domain name CongressHighlights.com to add to their 6,500 + other domain names. Congress and Pharma co’s seem to have close ties…

Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co (Dickies)

Hand registered the domain name 10xGear.com to add to their 460 other domain names. Dickies makes “strong” work gear, so my guess is they are going to claim that some sort of clothing they going to offer is 10x’s stronger in some sort of way!

Assurant, Inc.

Was the buyer of the InsureMyPhone.com domain name that I wrote about in another article (it appeared purchased at Sedo with a combo effort of Marksmen and CSC as the buyers). It appears
they are getting ready to use the domain in some way as they have changed Name Servers on the domain.

Southwest Airlines Co.

Hand registered the domain name EverybodyFirst.com adding to their 1,000 + other domains owned.

March of Dimes Foundation

Hand registered the domain name BecomingAMom.net . They had registered BecomingAMom.org in May of 2014, which has a coming soon landing page. They do NOT currently own BecomingAMom.com, as
that appears to be owned by a Frank Schilling company.

Twitter Inc.

Twitter continues to register domain names related to “shopping” which I first discovered here. Todays list contains mainly “Kit Store” keyword domains and also “Vine” related as well.

tweetkits.com
tweetkitsstore.com
tweetkitstore.com
twitterkit.com
twitterkite.com
twitterkits.com
twitterkitshop.com
twitterkitsstore.com
twitterkitstore.com
vinekit.com
vinekits.com
vinekitsstore.com
vinekitstore.com

CSC Corporate Domains, Inc. Client

CSC hand registered JuniorYogurt.com for an unknown client.

CSC appears to have purchased the domain name LifeIsStrange.com for a client. The domain was last owned by “DomainPals.com” and I was not able to find a publicly displayed sales price.

Kimberly Clark Corporation

Was the buyer of the DropYourPants.com domain name that Frank Schilling had sold for an undislosed amount. The vast majority of Franks domains are Not Cheap, so I would guess this domain
could have sold for around $10,000! That is my guess, but I couldn’t find an exact price paid.

The Name Servers have been changed, so I would expect KC to be launching a site on the domain shortly.

Helen Of Troy

I had no clue who that was until I dug a little. They own some super popular brands like Vicks, Pert Plus, OXO, Brut, Honeywell, Revlon and Pur. They had registered the domain name
ChilloutFans.com back in May 2014. They appear to be doing something with the domain, but it currently needs a login to whatever it is… so they are likely working on it.

Hallmark Licensing LLC

Very likely purchased the domain name KeepsakeIt.com at BuyDomains.com . I was not able to find a selling price. Hallmark has been using the Hashtag #Keepsakeit on Twitter and also has a page directly on its Hallmark.com site for the Keepsakeit name.

  1. Looks like Helen of Troy owns the ChillOut trademark for Electric Fans
Honeywell may be involved in some way. Maybe they make the fans for them. Not sure on that though.
They trade on NASDAQ under the symbol HELE with market cap of 1.69 Billion
They own or license a bunch of cool brands
Looks like their main site is HOTUS.com

  2. Never heard of Helen of Troy before, similar personal care brands are usually either P&G or Unilever. They’ve got some big brands under their wing! Interesting digging Jamie, well done.
